Yesterday I found out I’m naturally really good at using chopsticks!
I had never tried to use them before, but last night at a restaurant I was able to no problem demolish a big plate of fried rice with them

Imagine waking up one day to 100 notifications on your phone across every different place people can message you, and it doesn’t stop. You even have people you thought were part of your community turning against you.

As someone who was targeted by one of these videos, I can confirm that no matter the intent, it leads to immediate harassment campaigns.
There’s many things I experienced from that time that I may never share with the world publicly, cause it was vile. I don’t wish that upon anyone.

At absolute best it’s microwaved slop, at worse it leads to harassment campaigns (often that happens unfortunately)

my hot take this November is that "cheater exposed" videos are a net negative to the speedrunning scene. they appeal to the base instincts of viewers and create acceptable targets of abuse. these things should be handled by moderators in private Discord servers, not shown to millions for humiliation

The fact that a lot of leftists despise Parks and Rec - one of the best and most sympathetic depictions of non-cop government in modern media - is a symptom of the fact that a lot of the left has no idea how to actually implement the policy proposals they want to enact.
The reason 30 Rock succeeds years later while parks and rec has aged like a toilet full of milk, is that 30 Rock doesnt shy away from portraying Liz Lemon as an obvious villian with a victim/hero complex, whereas Leslie Knope was played just a straight hero character, even tho she is a neolib shill

I’m switching away from Spotify after more and more recent news…but the issue I have run into is that no matter how many of all the big streaming services I look through, there’s always some shitty connection to it in some way…

I am making it a goal over the next month to transfer my desktop usage over to Linux as much as possible, I’m absolutely done with Microsoft BS (and also Adobe, fuck em both)
Just need to do some preliminary testing to make sure everything I have does indeed work, planning to use Mint.
