I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

Greta Gerwig’s Little Women was well-received when it came out, but it’s still under-appreciated—a skillful adaptation and a work of literary criticism and an attempt to recontextualize the author for modern audiences and a loving work of fan fiction. Such a beautifully written film.

Can’t stop thinking about this. We need some sort of a verifiable symbol that identifies non-corporate media, so people can trust that their information isn’t being manipulated by super-rich Nazi creeps.
I guess I just feel like it should be a bigger deal that Penske Media owns the Golden Globes and ALSO Rolling Stone, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Indiewire, GoldDerby, and Deadline, plus 20% of Vox Media
Scoop: Jay Penske, who owns the Golden Globes, is pitching far-right podcasters with a proposal that they spend upwards of $75,000 to boost their chances of winning this year's inaugural podcasting award.
