They say we live in a bubble when there is a dude so fully ensconced in podcasts, twitter, group chats, and stimulants that he thought he could dress like a literal Nazi and start shooting people in the street and be remembered as a hero

These people live in a shrinking and dying parallel universe

HOW IT WORKS IN MOVIES:

1. Government lies

2. Brave heroes release video showing the truth

3. Press says “the government is lying!”

HOW IT APPARENTLY WORKS IN REAL LIFE

2. Government lies

3. Press says “Oh no, what now? So confusing! So hard!”

We've been raised in a culture that tells us self interest is all. Every person is out only for themselves &their cronies. What we're seeing now is that a lot of us resisted that programming. Some can't quite believe that's what it is--that we just fucking CARE. yes we care for free u creepy freaks!

Knowing nothing about firearms myself, this was an interesting read.
I'm going to say a couple of things about Alex Pretti's handgun, that I don't think people who do not shoot will initially understand.

This photo was almost immediately distributed by the feds. I think that doing so was, for them and their attempt to whitewash the murder, a *huge* error.

Reminder that the Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail editorial pages exhibit a human version of what AI calls "model collapse"—if you feed a language model its own output its output rapidly deteriorates into self-parody. The owners of the right-wing press read their own media and it rotted their brains.

ICE is a paramilitary force deployed in a campaign of state domestic terrorism.

If the primary focus were immigration enforcement, they’d be raiding agricultural and hospitality industry settings.

Instead, they’re going into residential neighborhoods, schools, and courthouses.

Terror is the goal.

Given the news from Minneapolis, I expect that within the next 24 hours Trump will throw a dead cat on the table ((TM) Boris Johnson). Probably by bombing the Ayatollah Khamenei in his bunker or declaring war on Ruritania.

And the professor who led the project is Adam Brumm, brother of Joe (the creator of Bluey!), and that’s why Bandit the dog is a paleo-archaeologist in the show! 😁
