In the early morning, Cecelia and Kasseh returned to the beach. There were hardly any waves. The ocean stretched out to the horizon almost like glass.
Cecelia dropped her towel and then waded straight out into the water.
"Isn't it too cold?" Kasseh asked, standing back on the wet sand. (1/3) #wss366

I've really been enjoying the Ruri Rocks anime. It follows a JK on a journey from liking shiny things to a budding interest in mineralogy and earth science. It's also beautifully animated and teaches a lot of science. It's cool. Check it out! www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4Zm...

Curtiss escorted Serena back to the Grand Hotel. At the door to the hotel, he drew in his breath to say his goodbyes, but she put her hand on his arm.
"Just a moment of your time, Milord." She went the counter and got her key, then returned to the staircase. (1/3) #wss366

Two hours into the reception, Serena suddenly went pale and swayed on her feet.
"Milady?" Curtiss said.
He took her elbow, steered her out of the crowd, and into a side room. He helped her take a seat on a comfortable sofa near a fireplace.
"Let me get you some water," he said. (1/4) #wss366

Mental health, not economics
My brother suggests that I missed the point in my recent post, where I claimed that being depressed about work is nothing new, and that finding work worth doing was the solution.
I beg to differ.

The men of Squad 6 squared away their bunks and began to change into dress uniforms.
Curtiss pulled his out and began to dress.
"Wait!" Roughneck said. "What happened to your pants?"
He pointed at them folded crosswise on the hangar. (1/3) #wss366

Tears rolled down Brunhilde's cheeks as her lower #lip trembled. She clasped her hands together.
"I'm sorry, Daddy!" she sobbed. "I won't do it again!"
"Two!" Forrest said.
"Oh, I'd give that a nine," the bear said. He clapped his paws together.
