Somewhere between Proverbs 31 & ‘Pac.
That game gave me flashbacks to high school games in SW Michigan weather.

Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.

Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.
So Democrats get:

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays

2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail

3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

That’s what my mama always told me to look for. Not how they treat their mama or waitstaff or gifts or w/e.
The man that knows you like iced tea with lunch, hate mushrooms & that your trash goes out on Thursday? The one that keeps some of that coffee creamer you like at their house?
That’s the one.
If you get on that woman and start studying them real good… you ain’t gotta ask a lot of questions

You gone know them better than cover 3

We are an embarrassingly unserious country.
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."

New level of evil unlocked. Smh.
Donald Trump and Russ Vought are literally defying a court order to keep SNAP benefits away from hungry kids, even state-level GOP are pulling their hair out about this.
NEW: Trump now says he will not pay food stamps in November, even though his admin told a court yesterday it would make partial payments. The benefits are once again in jeopardy, as officials are back at court, seeking to force the release of full aid.

On National Sandwich Day.
I like his odds.
It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

Thoughts & prayers to all the dog parents this evening.
May God grant you the serenity to repeatedly explain that you, in fact, can also hear the doorbell ringing & the wisdom to accept that they will bark every. single. time. anyway.
