Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stated that the 1918 flu pandemic was caused by a lab virus from vaccine research, a defective influenza vaccine. Let’s analyze what a lie this is. First, in 1918, 107 years ago, virology was in its infancy

Wonder if America stops vaccinating its kids by default, at what point will countries start wanting to see vaccination certificates as part of their customs processes for Americans?
A recent modeling study in JAMA showed that if MMR vaccine rates drop 10% (easy to see happen with this), we’re back to 400,000-500,000 cases a year. Our current outbreak is 2,000. This turns the clock back to 1950 🚨🚨🚨
It is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. plans to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It’s a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States.

And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).

I know it's hard for a lot of Labour supporters to accept but it's true: silence and equivocation in the face of racism, failure to employ all legal means to defeat it, is de facto collusion. It just is. And it has to be condemned, not denied or excused.
Harry Cole hasn't changed. He's always been what he is now. But he's never felt able to platform racists before. That is the government's fault. They have sat by and allowed racism to become normalised. So very obviously apologists for racism will take advantage.

Losing the market to Chinese manufacturers is precisely the scenario a 2030/35 target date is trying to avoid. It’s pushing European manufacturers to get EV production up to speed asap. Without it China just builds its lead, leaving Europe with next to no auto industry by the 2040s.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

"RemoveWindowsAI" is a script created by zoicware, available on GitHub, that does exactly what it says: it remove every AI feature in Windows 11. Do what you wish to do with this information. I'm sharing this because some folks are forced to use Win11 at work or other places for any reasons.

I honestly think the reason GenAI has been so successful at getting orgs to pump money into a furnace is because it’s executive porn. It’s a mirror. People love mirrors.

It accepts any idea, loves to be told it is wrong, and spits out infinite bullshit summaries about things people don’t understand
“It’s a system that just takes a bunch of real original human thoughts and repeats them but in a stupidly imperceptible summary for lazy idiots who don’t want to do any work to understand”

Lots of news coverage this morning about £28 billion investment approved to upgrade the UK's energy network.

BUT: The majority of the spending – £17.8 billion - announced today is to maintain Britain’s gas networks rather than build new transmission lines.

Of that 28bn, £17.8 is for the gas network. Some of which would be wholly avoidable had GB planned and implemented an orderly process to close most of the gas grid alongside a committed rollout of low carbon heat. As is you have to build assets then have accelerated depreciation to pay for them
