For better or worse, public figures are judged when they die — their character, contributions, beliefs. It's undeniable that millions have mourned Rob Reiner's tragic death, celebrating his talent and contributions. I suspect when a certain public figure kicks the bucket, sentiments wont be the same

Still processing the tragic news of the loss of Rob Reiner. I'm of the age when he was a huge part of my film-viewing in the 80s, and about ten years ago wrote a piece for the BFI celebrating to my mind some of his finest work. www.bfi.org.uk/lists/rob-re...

Speaking ill of the dead is controversial, particularly when it was a violent death. It’s edgy; it’s sensitive; best avoided in most cases, etc.

Baselessly making another person’s murder *about yourself,* and then approving of it, is a different thing. That is delusional, narcissistic, sociopathic.

So when we talk about “occupied territories in exchange for peace”, what exactly are we talking about.

this is the most brain-dead idea I’ve ever heard. probably cooked up by suits who have never stepped foot into a datacenter. probably the same people who lose their shit in cafes when the wifi wont connect to their ipad
More from the WSJ:

- Blue Origin has been working on orbital data centers for over a year
- "SpaceX plans to use an upgraded version of its Starlink satellites to host AI computing payloads"
- This idea is an explicit hook for the IPO (lol)
