Trump's tariffs are the single largest tax hike in the postwar and it was done unilaterally without consent of Congress. Its actually outrageous when you think about it, and conservatives and Republicans just like accept it because yadda yadda daddy Trump. Unreal.

People keep saying "Getting arrested is bad, actually" and while I'd certainly prefer not to be, the administration's entire strategy is built around the idea that I will live in fear of it, and shape my behavior to avoid it, and cry in shame if I am. That is how THEY CONTROL YOU.

I’m old and have a lot less at stake than many people. If I get arrested, I won’t lose my pension. If I get shot, I’ll lose 10-20 years of arthritis getting worse and worse. I have no reason not to rouse a little rabble.

Primaries have a lot to do with this fundraising for Senate, but right now Michigan and Iowa Senate races are great picks on where to donate to (or save the money for after the primary and donate it to the nominee)

One thing that scares me about the 2028 election is that Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris are the frontrunners and both are opposed by large parts of the "Bernie or bust" wing of the Democratic voter pool.

The far-left would rather let a fascist win than vote for a centrist to stop a fascist.

And this is why Schumer’s shutdown deal was good, actually.

Make Republicans tell on themselves, and do a bunch of infighting, until Democrats gain power to actually legislate.

Then you have a vote, and you can fall in love with whatever Democrat gives you that.

It's called a primary.

After that, if your preferred nominee makes it, or doesn't make it, we expect you to fall in line.

That is, if you want to kneecap ICE, the first step would be to strip it away from the larger bills. They have done so. That is a sign of real weakness on the Republican side. The next step, as I said weeks ago, would be to starve it. You won’t abolish it yet. Name your price, make them come over.

We told yall about that ol’ crater faced creature Tulsi Gabbard. Hillary Clinton called her out. Then Kamala Harris called her out to her face for being an apologist for Assad. But you know who never saw an issue with her? Ol’ 50 Stents who got knocked out by a shower door.

it'll be interesting to see who fights to protect having a free press and who does not

Alex Jeffrey Pretti was an ICU nurse at a VA hospital. His life, through his profession, was dedicated to serving his community and our country.

As so many have now seen on video, his final act before he was killed by federal agents was doing everything in his power to protect his community.

this btw is the framing that's getting a lot of traction with my normie friends. The house GOP is trying to repeal Obamacare, dems are saying no and so the GOP shut the government down to try and get the dems to cave; trump is too busy caring about the ballroom.

In many ways Obamacare now simply means "the status quo of American Healthcare" which also explains when lefties complain about it not working despite knowing jack about pre-ACA healthcare.
