Even in states where you can vote by mail any time from receiving your ballot ~2 weeks prior until the close of polls...

... People reliably wait until the last minute and drop off their ballot on Election Day.

A change to current laws would mean that millions of votes aren't counted.
Since 2020, I have been fighting for mail-in voting and the GOP has been fighting against it. A critical court case is now going before the U.S. Supreme Court. I can assure you that I will be there fighting hard to ensure every lawful ballot counts.

Fog can be incredibly hard to capture well on camera, btw. 🌁

Despite negative press reporting the energy transition is well underway. In the UK, we see strong demand for electric vehicles and solar panels. And the more people learn that these technologies can offer them tangible benefits the more others will adopt them too.

More states should follow Colorado's lead. 🍎
School lunches get a bad rap, but they're healthier than the average packed lunch. And making them free for all amplifies academic and health benefits for low-income kids by removing stigma/shame.

So I'm glad Colorado voted to raise taxes on high-income households to make school meals free for all.

Incredibly stunning ducks. Rarely you'll find them in the U.S. as escapees. Saw one hanging out with Wood Ducks for weeks a few years ago. Quite the ladies man. 🪶
Against a dark backdrop the colours of a mandarin duck show beautifully.

Meanwhile...

Healthcare premiums are going up to $10,000 or more per year. 🩺
#JetTaxBreak #HealthcarePowered
Just one tax break in the "Big Beautiful Bill" gives the ultrarich more than a third of a Trillion Dollars when they buy themselves private jets.

That alone is enough to cover all healthcare subsidies that the Bill took away.

Income from labor has long been taxed higher than income from investing. And if you declare yourself a corporation suddenly large personal expenses become business expenses - otherwise called investments.
If I can pay a marginal tax rate of 37% on my income, billionaires can pay their fair share on capital gains, jets, & all the other luxuries for which they've gamed the Code - TAX THE RICH
