Yeah, I'm more worried about side damage to the honest parts of tech - good robust machine learning projects, scientific computing that needs clusters and GPUs, and so on - than to the global economy.

I think there's at least two different crowds - there's I think most people in this thread, who are techy, but sceptical about Big Tech, worried about its politics, and angry about the forced use of bad products. Then there are people who have radicalised themselves against the concept of computer
