Breaking: Tony Blair and Jared Kushner have just been named to a U.S.-led “Gaza Board of Peace,”

part of a Trump-backed plan for reconstruction and transitional governance after the war.

Most people don’t know this is happening right now.

Gaza has been flattened.

Tony Blair and Jared Kushner are on

The committee which isn’t about preventing destruction it’s about managing what remains.

Blair & Kushner are not neutral observers

their presence signals the plan’s continuity with prior policies and control frameworks.

New in PN: Democrats need to shut down Trump's terrorist government

"Democrats should reject any pretense of political normalcy while Trump’s goons wage an ongoing terror campaign against their own constituents. With government funding running out soon, the time to take a stand is now."

Koh: Trump has now spent $30 billion from the last bill for 10,000 more I.C.E. Agents that are going to be on the streets. That $30 billion would cover all the ACA subsidies for a year. It would eliminate all co-pays for prescription drugs for people from a year, and eliminate all medical debt.

I’ve seen schools close for snow, for pandemic, for natural disaster. I’ve never seen schools close because of threat from our own government.

This is the safest, most moderate course of action that offers some prospect of de-escalation. It is the only way for Democrats.

Don't do it and we're on a glide path toward brutal fascist dictatorship or civil war. This isn't going to just stop on its own.
Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

It would take a two-word amendment to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to subject ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers to the same liability for constitutional violations that local and state officers currently face.

If Congress actually cared about what it's seeing, it could pass that overnight.

I think it’s important to point out: ICE does NOT have the same authority as a police officer. They do NOT have the power to enforce laws, only to engage in their specific tasks.
