Day 9: Hot Chocolate Holiday

NOW THIS IS A FUCKIN MOVIE!!!! We had rival storefronts run by a brunette in a peacoat jeans and booties vs a generic approachable handsome man, both unknowingly selling the SAME HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE!!! Big “you put cinnamon on your hot cocoa too? :0” ouat energy here.

What is the point of winter if not for extra cuddles??? Ordinarily I would just grab Adrien at this point and make him cuddle with me anyway but I don’t feel like he deserves the treat. I shouldn’t have to ask him he should just KNOW!!!!

But u have to watch these bad boring movies so you can get into the New York Christmas Wedding of it all. I wish I could watch that for the first time again more than anything

I mean i say that but that’s what I thought i was doing when I clicked on what I thought was a Anna Kendrick party girl Christmas romp but instead was subject to agonizingly pretentious indie project with Lena Dunham and TONS of footage of an ugly baby. You can’t prepare for that kind of thing

Day 8: Bob’s Burgers “Gene’s Christmas Break”

Too tired and disheartened from the last two days of movies and I had to cheat today. I do like this one tho. A great gene ep! Teddy is funny in it too. Tina’s mission to become good at gift wrapping is so real

I’m p sure 23 is when I started taking Wellbutrin actually LMAO when ppl are like “antidepressants will destroy the Real You!!!” they need to see the difference between these pictures. But also I was just never meant to be a child that shit sucks

Man I just would have really enjoyed watching a movie that is basically “you me and Dupree” but with Anna Kendrick instead of Owen Wilson

I hate it when Christmas movies are about like, joy and love and generosity none of that sappy shit I want to look at grey pictures where absolutely nothing happens and that is so rare in the holiday genre. It’s so genius to make a movie that is boring on purpose

It would be ok if it wasn’t so boring. It only got vaguely interesting like 50 minutes in but before that it’s just like “here’s a realistic depiction of an alcoholic getting blackout drunk in a very uncomfortable, embarrassing, mundane way and check out this ugly baby!!! Look at the baby!!!!!”

Day 7: Happy Christmas

“An immature party girl (Anna Kendrick) moves in with her brother’s family and throws their lives out of whack.” You would think this is a comedy from that description but no. It’s a serious indie drama made by someone who thought their baby was WAY cuter than it was

I think abt this snippet of writing a lot. It’s a great analysis of a lot of his music. That gentle, delicate prettiness is what came naturally to him and the edginess is him playing around with it and adding emotional effect. Abused is such a good example of that bc it has both in spades

I do love the original version of that song too but fuuuuck it was just MADE for Elliott. He sounds so beautiful singing it his voice is like the most delicate porcelain that will break if you look at it wrong
