"If you hate GenAI you're going to have to stop playing new games when they all start using it"

My brother in Christ, my backlog is literally thousands of games long. I have lifetimes worth of earlier titles to play, & I will gladly do that instead of boiling the oceans for a new CoD or whatever

A major antagonist dies in the guilty gear pachinko machine and is never mentioned again

The machine has a built in ash tray
After "film trilogy that dropped a critical plot point exclusively via timed Fortnite event" and "video game series whose story only makes sense if you're aware of the events of a canon pachinko machine", I feel like there are whole frontiers of user-hostile narrative design waiting to be explored.

One of the best N64 games, and its super underrated, possibly perfect sequel is arguably the best Wii game.

Would kill for ports/remasters of both on Switch with gyro aim.
November 21 2000, Sin & Punishment debuted on the N64 in Japan!

In a GIT GUD moment, Panel de Pon creator Hitoshi Yamagami directed the game for Nintendo...
When he expressed concerns about difficulty, Treasure responded that he shouldn't be supervising the game if he wasn't good enough to play it!

Please appreciate my meager SNES collection.

Grew up poor so the only games here that are from my childhood are the RPGs; if I was only getting 1 game a year, I was gonna get the longest ones available. The rest I bought later. Shoutout to my older siblings for teaching me to keep the boxes ;D

I still think it's weird that everyone hated loot boxes and realized they were all greedy and predatory, but for some reason we all decided that similar gambling via gacha is fine

With that said, I just the pulled the punk dirtbag Judd-Nelson-in-Breakfast-Club horsegirl so Uma Musume is my GOTY

Luke fon Fabre being there gives me hope that a Tales of the Abyss remaster is in the works. Still my favorite Tales game by a huge margin

They lied about it. All of it. A thug cop shot an unarmed woman five times without justification, boasted about it to his colleagues, and then this administration tried cover it all up by arresting her and charging her with felonies.
Absolutely incredible; after shooting Marimar Martinez 5 times and arresting her on claims that she rammed them and pulled a gun, prosecutors have now moved to dismiss ALL criminal charges against her and her codefendant.
New: the govt has moved to dismiss its assault case against Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, two people accused of "box[ing] in" a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago on Oct. 4.

One agent shot Martinez, with evidence presented to the court that he later bragged about in text messages.

The company producing these has a bad reputation but I might gamble on a preorder because how often do we get Sparkster figures? How many of these do I need to buy before they greenlight a new Rocket Knight game made by some renowned indie studio?

I know it's not as beloved as DK94 but this game kept me sane during a 16-hour flight from LA to the Philippines. Fond memories of beating this on an OG GBA with one of those clip-on magnifying screens/lights while soaring over the Pacific.

I need to play the remake.

This thing took so much work, from so many people - RPGs have so many little working parts, and we did so much to try to make this world feel alive. The team is just vibrating right now, seeing how this all goes, but for now it's great to just have it out there, in people's hands.

I'm in my 20s, the cringe blink-182 doesn't meet my standard of technical virtuosity, and I reject the puny 480 vertical res.

Just want to co-sign the base M4 Mac Mini recommendation here. Been using this on my work-from-home days and it's a million times faster and more reliable for my work (mostly InDesign + Photoshop,) than the ostensibly more powerful Windows machine I was assigned at the office

Sure, I'll play the Tomb Raider re-reboot again. One of the last games I beat on 360 & among the first I played on PS4

I hate the "grounded/gritty" story (esp. since Lara completely sucks by the third game,) but HOT TAKE I like Crystal Dynamics' take on platforming & shooting more than Uncharted's
