Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

It's about damned time the kids began paying attention. I was reading the newspaper by age 8 and by 12 was reading about the holocaust. Then came Steinbeck. That reading ignited my socialist leanings. Sadly, young people have simply ignored the world and those who control their lives far too long.
This is what it looks like when the younger generations take the lead.
The youth needs to be empowered to use their voice, it is through them that this regime will fall. It is through them that new leaders will rise. The future is theirs.
