I'm not even asking you to put on films that I have particularly outsized fondness for like O Brother and Life Aquatic or to take off films I detest like Wet Hot American Summer (the antithesis of humor). but how on Earth can you make a list of the greatest comedies without Nick & Nora Charles??????

This list includes both The Grand Budapest Hotel and Fargo, neither of which are even comedies????? They are just movies that have some laughs in them because they are made by brilliant directors. Like if you put on either of those movies *because* you want to laugh, I don't even know what to say?

If detached single family homes are so good why do they have to be legally mandated, huh? If they were truly so in demand, market actors would choose to supply them freely without the coercion of government mandate. I think as with everything in American society, white people tacitly understand that they will not be held to standards like this and thus feel comfortable imposing them on others

NEWS: The criminal cases against James Comey and Letitia James are gone. A federal judge ruled that the appointment of Lindsey Halligan as the lead prosecutor was illegal.
DOJ could try again, but there are other headwinds.
