Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood, I loved that series. I don’t interact with the fandom or really engage with anything Potter related out of respect for my trans friends.
I hate that the creator is a bigoted hypocrite, it’s hard looking back at it without thinking about that.

There's something to be said for not making one thing your entire personality. Like be a book lover, not a Harry Potter lover. Go all in on comic books, not one specific writer or artist's comics.

Sam Raimi directed a western and it’s criminally underrated
Upon re-watch, THE QUICK AND THE DEAD (1995) is even BETTER a second time around, and I also have to amend my assessment of Sharon Stone's performance. She is fantastic in this, playing a decidedly different kind of Western anti-hero.
The film is much more subversive and deep than I recall.

Finished reading ‘Commando: The Autobiography of Johnny Ramone’.
It’s a good quick and detailed read. Favorite story was he was Nic Cage’s best man at his wedding to Lisa Marie Presley, though he wished he walked her down the aisle.
