I wish I had been able to keep up with it, but they're prohibitively expensive for new releases now, and they never go down in price. I think I got up to like season 4 of MY HERO ACADEMIA and the penultimate season of ATTACK ON TITAN before bowing out.

There is never any "maybe his ears are so big he could fly!" at the beginning of the movie.
