Starting October 15, six CTA buses will operate with Automated Bus Lane Enforcement systems as part of the City of Chicago’s Smart Streets pilot.

Bus lanes and bus stops are for buses. Bike lanes are for bikes. Keeping them clear is essential to ensuring everyone in Chicago gets where they need to go, safely and on time. That's why we're launching automated bus lane, bus stop, and bike lane enforcement to improve rider safety and transit efficiency.

this is my best attempt so far of mapping where the ADU compromise ordinance will apply
a map of Chicago symbolized into four areas. RS zones in Pilot Areas will allow ADUs by right when the ordinance takes effect; RT, RM, B, and C1 and C2 zones will also allow ADUs by right when the ordinance takes effect. RS zones that are not in the pilot areas will require an opt-in ordinance. Other areas, shown in gray, will not allow ADUs. A note says that these zoning districts comprise PD, PMD, M, and D zoning districts.
