This should be boosted regardless if you're anywhere near Minnesota. Since organizing general strikes is something that should already be on the minds of Americans across the entire country, might as well talk about and support any where they may be popping up.
A major coalition is launching a general strike in Minnesota tomorrow, aimed at pushing out ICE.
It includes:
-Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1005
-The MN AFL-CIO
-SEIU Local 26
-UNITE HERE Local 17
-CWA Local 7250
-Saint Paul and Minneapolis Federations of Educators
-Faith leaders

It would be more helpful for folks saying this (gesturing at the news) isn’t America, instead said, this isn’t what I want the US to be /anymore/ because you can say that and let that drive your actions going forward, but believing in a thing that didn’t exist is well…useless.
