if you don't want to be on the lists because you have been incorrectly labeled as identifying as a baeddel, or I misread an ironic use of "cissexual" or "theyfab", gimme a heads up.

If you want off the lists bc you don't like they exist too bad.
how are there still trans people who don't understand that gender identity and orientation have slippage and fuzzy boundaries, so trying to police the boundaries of "gay" and "lesbian" based on a trans person being the "wrong gender" is just transphobia

Either the intersection of transphobia and misogyny is transmisogyny for all trans people, or trans women experience transmisogyny and trans people of other gender experiences can name their intersection (so learn about exorsexism and accept the truth of antitransmasculinity or transandrophobia)

I do not and cannot understand the argument that I am describing both transphobia AND misogyny but to name that overlap (for trans men specifically) is somehow implying that man as a class are systematically oppressed, rather than that this is the existence of THESE men

Transmisogyny is a term for trans women. We are naming the intersection that trans men experience because they are also standing at the same intersection. If you want me to call trans men's experiences "transmisogyny"...
January 18, 2026 at 2:21 AM
"Transphobia and misogyny exist, why are trans guy trying to name where those two things overlap in their lives? How weird and MRA"
January 18, 2026 at 2:17 AM
Me: Gende, not womanhood, affects the experience of violence and bigotry. Trans men are perceived as failed women, Black men are perceived as hypersexual/hyperviolent, Asian men are emasculated, in ways that women who share their identity arent

This asshole: HDU say men are systematically oppressed
January 18, 2026 at 2:11 AM
One of the biggest struggles for discussing antitransmasculinity is the cis-brained idea that if you acknowledge way misogyny affects and orders transmasc lives you are misgendering or perceiving them as "not men", rather than describing the experience of men who are perceived as women

Why does everyone want to insist all violence trans women encounter is a unique violence, but none of the bigotry that actively targets trans men are allowed to be named as targeted or unique?
January 18, 2026 at 1:23 AM
Specifically targeting binders is specifically targeting trans men, unless US government actions have limited access to other trans garments lately

It's bizarre to insist that intentional targeting if trans men (ostensibly to "protect" "cis girls" from "making a mistake") is generic transphobia

luv basic ass sexist stereotypes remixed to sound trans and woman positive

"women have a more developed frontal lobe bc babies and home, and men have more grey matter bc hunters and engineers. but trans women have bigger frontal lobes so it's ok"

YALL
One might also ask, if men never evolved their frontal lobes then what did they evolve? Spatial awareness, engineering skills, grey matter. They can be great physicists and engineers just never put one in charge of millions of people, they just kept not caring about people around them

Watching queer genderplay go from "gender is a social construct that can be fun to play with but is a dangerous toy that's been used for generations to oppress and divide" to "everyone has a pure crystal of true gender which you must divine, and you can do it wrong" has been a horror movie
January 13, 2026 at 7:34 AM
hot take:
I've seen "transandrophobia" compared to "misogyblanc" as an invented term that doesn't make sense because whiteness and manhood arent axes of oppression. Except. To rename the neutral as one option among many-- "misogyny is the center of a Venn diagram of overlapping misogy-EXPERIENCE"--

Tara Knight states a materialist feminist position that to be trans "requires transition" because to transition is to directly encounter the gendered power structure

Whether or not I agree, I thought this was a salient point:

folks are getting suckered into this trans chauvinism that asserts there is a real contingent of transmascs and nbs who are against transfems and "transsexuals" (or w/ev) having access to hrt. Its untethered from reality
January 10, 2026 at 5:05 PM
the person she is responding to said his options were being a man or being dead

radical feminism is a rot in the trans community
idk man i genuinely and earnestly want you to be living your best life and be what maleness comes to equate to, that's the express goal, but the question of how we navigate where we are and what things most people buy into from masculinity, regardless of trans or cis, that's the hard part.
January 10, 2026 at 4:29 PM
dog, I spent 30 years ruminating on what is coherent and true about the structures of gender and realized that even if everyone stopped calling themselves a "man" or "woman" tomorrow systemic patriarchy would still exist

Neither your experiences of gender nor your feminist philosophy are universal
I mean dog, let's be open and respectful about it.
It is not like I did not spend 30 years ruminating exactly on what was coherent or true to me about masculinity, or my differences to most cis men.
I assure you
I *have* thought about it.
to a frankly unhealthy degree

Can you count, suckas? I say the future is ours, if you can count. Look what we got here. You got the transsexuals sitting next to the theymabs. We got the masc boys right by the transbians.. Nobody is discoursin nobody. That is a miracle. And miracles is the way things ought to be. Can you dig it?
a man is standing in front of a crowd and asking can you dig it .

In my estimation, this position isn't coherent because the real position is "I dislike nonbinary people" with very specific, and precarious!, carve outs for 'nonbinary in ways I can understand as being cross-sex/gender.' This is always subject to revocation.

Old thread but 🌟
Whipping Girl is cited all the time for why "cissexual" is historical and valid as a distinction, but read how it's used in the book. She outlines several things transsexuals deal with that cissexuals do not. And it includes:

-Having your gender disbelieved
-Legal document changes +

"theygab" is fun because i can't think of any other slurs i've gotten to personally witness the birth of, usually it's all old shit from the 1800s still in use. we're leading the charge in *innovation* of slur use
Honestly, I’m considering deleting my social media over shit like this. I’m frankly exhausted over ever single post I make on bluesky ends up somehow being twisted into “Jessie sucks and is a morally horrid person or should die”. It’s so mentally draining to see constantly over social media posts.
