"We Beat 'Em Before... (Portland's Version)"

This idea came to me late. I think it fits really well since Portland Frog Brigade literally carries no weapons and yet ICE has no idea how to respond to them. Just feckless incompetent goons all around.

People not in Minnesota: please read this excellent summary of what life is like in Minneapolis since the murderous scum ICE swarmed here. And more are on their way. By local reporter / writer / bike dude / legend @dbrauer.net .

just a reminder that we aren’t even seeing the worst of what is happening in Minneapolis from someone detailed at the Whipple Federal Building yesterday

Those of you who still insist on drawing a distinction between ICE and police should be aware that the police are not drawing that distinction.
Thank you for telling us you neither serve nor protect. Thank you for saying the quiet part out loud. That was state murder in broad daylight, captured from multiple angles by multiple witnesses, and the people of Minneapolis have eyes.

You support murder.

unrelated to anything, i am deeply grateful to be a part of my neighborhood’s *** watch this week, to have a space where we’re all grieving and getting to work simultaneously is very healing

walking home from dinner and just saw some guy distracting his dog with a laser pointer to redirect the dog’s attention away from people/another dog and i was kind of struck by his genius

You never see these freaks happy. There is a sort of libidinal joy they perform, mostly for each other, but it comes only from of the immiseration of their enemies. No victory brings relief, just a temporary reprieve of grievance. I do not believe the machinery which drives us and them are the same.

A poem by Renee Nicole Good, who was murdered by ICE earlier today.

Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power

- file impeachment articles every day in the House

- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee

- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

Kinda sucks how one day you’ll post stuff like “does the Grinch use the toilet?” and then the next it has to be “I reject those who worship death”

This is the proper framing.
I hate to break it to you, but heavily-armed government militias are roaming unchecked through US cities and shooting human rights observers dead in the streets. That's happening in our country.

what this should make clear to everyone in this country is that it does not matter who you are, there's no "it could never happen to me"

you can be a white woman who drives around with stuffed animals in her car, and they will still kill you in cold blood and call you a domestic terrorist
The murdered woman's glove compartment is filled with stuffed animals.

if ur looking for someone to blame for the shooting in minneapolis u should probably know that biden and kamala both took money from alex karp, the ceo of palantir. palantirs ICE contract began in 2013 under obama. biden signed a spending bill that gave $3.4 billion dollars to these ghouls in 2024
biden expanded ICE and embraced palantir into the state department. his director of national intelligence avril haines was a palantir consultant who participated in the torture report coverup at the CIA. if u think kamala wouldnt have touched maduro ur a rube and a simpleton

I need people to wrap their minds around the fact that here in Minneapolis, ICE broke the window of a vehicle yesterday, pepper sprayed the occupants, and arrested them, and shot another observer in the face today, and OBSERVERS ARE STILL GOING OUT TO PROTECT THEIR NEIGHBORS AT MASSIVE PERSONAL RISK
I’m eating lunch, I’m having a panic attack, I’m charging my phone, and then I’m going back out to try and keep my neighborhood safe.
