⚠️Wow... This is major! According to @jeffhorwitz.bsky.social, Meta had a policy in place to prevent scam ads from being detected by regulators. It's reminiscent of the "diesel dupe" scandal from a decade ago, when major carmakers were accused of using “cheat” software to fake emissions results.
We got Meta’s “general global playbook” for defeating advertiser verification regulations, which the company knows would reduce scams. It includes making scam ads “not findable” for regulators searching Meta’s ad library through targeted scrubbing.

The outrageous sanctioning of EU lawmakers and citizens in order to pressure democratically-elected European governments to change their laws shows just how intent the US government is on controlling Europeans' lives.

We must go into 2026 with eyes open.
The US can destroy a European's life with the swipe of a pen
This week's US sanctions against European lawmakers and privacy activists is a major escalation. And it shows the dangers of Europe relying on American economic infrastructure.

A perfect example why online privacy is important and should be legally enforceable and also how people advocating against are probably profiting from it.
This is video #2 that took over a year to be published and since it exposes Honey, Paypal and co. it's a miracle it was.
