The choir’s director, its pianist, and several young singers are Ukrainian. The rest of the members are foreigners who learned our legendary "Shchedryk" in its original Ukrainian for this special performance.

Sigh. Airline uncertainty had reduced our early Thanksgiving celebration by one son and daughter-in-law. They need to be back and can't afford the risk of not making it.

I was today’s years old thatI learned that Albert Einstein taught at an NCBU, Lincoln University, and received an honorary degree from the first Degree granting HBCU in 1946, and spoke out about racism. I know he was brilliant, but learning this touched my fucking soul ❤️

For the last 15 years, Chicago has become a popular summer hub and the location of the last remaining breeding colony of the black-crowned night herons in Illinois, specifically atop the red wolf enclosure at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
