Going back through my pictures on the fever days, and I just cant beleive how sweet and calm this pup was the whole week. Tearing up at this picture. He is not a cuddler by nature, and he is full of 3 days of pent up energy here, but look at him taking care of me 🥹

A small bright spot before I go to sleep - winterization for the eucalyptus is going well enough I have fresh (slightly wilted from the trip) shower eucalyptus

I tried to play with him earlier and got too exhausted and had to sit in the grass a bit. When he saw me sit down, he went immediately from desperately trying to get me to play to herding me back home, where he proceeded to pin me down until I went to sleep 🥹

He's only had about 20 minutes of real exercise since Saturday which super duper sucks for him. He's been so good about it, though. Keeping himself calm, redirecting destructive behavior.
My big worry has been what if I get really sick again, and his recognition and response has put me at ease

Got the dog out to play while I sat in a lawn chair and froze. Lasted half an hour and wore out so bad we're both collapsed on the bathroom floor

Peritas is so sweet. He realized it was really hard for me to walk so he stopped trying to get me to play and laid down across me like this

Poor peri. This is maybe the second or third day where we just haven't gone outside except to potty since he moved in and he hates it. He can tell something is up with me, though, and hes being very patient

Picked up a chest cold whose primary symptom is physical exhaustion. Poor Peritas has only had about 2 hours outside time and no chase at all. Hopefully his girlfriend Maggie is around tonight cause otherwise he's gonna have to remember how to entertain himself outdoors
