I'm watching a show based on the premise that cars run by grinding up still living people into the engine. 2/3 of the show so far is shots of people being shredded. They censor a dick, though.

OK, good. It seems like my aunt did not get the sane strain I did. My mother had said she'd caught the same thing and given it to her but she's going on 5 mile hikes 2 days later, and I'm still in bed 18 hours a day 5 days in, so I don't think she did.

Watched Welcome to Derry cause I'm stuck inside and out of stuff. Never watched a show that was trying so hard and so lazy at the same time. Deeply unimpressed. Also, like, shocker: little boys creeping on women depicted as innocent in a Stephen King product. What a not weird thing to constantly do.

One of my least favorite TV things is the disciplinarian teacher who reacts to *every* disruption, no matter how obviously it's, like, a ghost demon murdering children with "YOU SIT DOWN RIGHT NOW I AM A STEREOTYPICAL SCHOOLMARM"

Took the dog potty and managed to stand the whole time. Had to sit down for a minute to tackle the stairs back up, but progress!

There have been 3 medical centers fighting for the right to exploit my town, and, even though lole half the town is now medical centers, you can never expect to see the same doctor twice or go to the same location. Might be the other company in a month

Oh shit I think that fever spike mighta tipped things. I just got up to use the bathroom without needing a break or being sore from the exertion. Chest and nose cleared out. As fast as it came. Fingers crossed it stays gone by morning

Stupid fuckin fevers. I bundled up stupidly against the chills and fell asleep. Woke up at 101.5 so now I have to make a dr appointment even though I'm pretty sure it's just that I was wrapped in 4 blankets in a 70 degree house

This flu has done the weirdest things. On top of the muscle pain and fatigue, it made me feel like it was gonna cause a crohn's flare. I had the tight belly, constant gurgling, nausea, etc, but it also slowed food transit time way, way down.
