I don't want a civil war, I don't want armed opposition to federal authorities, but I can't help thinking that's where this is going. Does the national guard stand for or against their own citizens - that is probably where we go next. How on earth did we get here?

This seems increasingly how POTUS is being viewed and spoken about internationally - but somehow 40% or so of US citizens (in most polls) still think Trump is doing a good job. Baffles me.
