Northerner. Husband. Dad. Pillock.

Not a real lightbulb. Or a turnip. Not that sinister. But I do stay largely anonymous on here to keep it separate from real life. Ally to anyone who would like it. Significant irritant of @ElisabethHobbes.co.uk.
I went to see a flamenco show once with the same ‘not sure’ approach. It was amazing. I’ve come to think that pretty much any live entertainment done well is easy to appreciate…

Creepy? You?

Bit of bass, bit of guitar, bit of reluctant vocals
November 27, 2025 at 10:47 PM
There will be something to hear eventually - working on that…
November 27, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Yup
November 27, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Like all these things, its a great idea if it isn’t mandatory…
November 27, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Exactly that. Though I have a horrible feeling it could quite accurately replicate a few corporate landfill indie acts…

I shouldn’t like this - but I do. Citroen missed a trick here I think… Fiat’s Topolino reskin works really well also.

A city car like this needs to look stylish, not a bit like a wheely bin.
November 27, 2025 at 4:16 PM
Thats cool - because you presumably couldn’t post about it after the first day or so… 😉
November 27, 2025 at 4:14 PM
I want some of those…
November 27, 2025 at 1:53 PM
And baked potatoes in foil in the embers…
November 27, 2025 at 1:45 PM
Oh - helllloooooo
November 27, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Works a treat. Had a stove for a full 3 years until it occurred to me I could do that. (And boil a kettle for that matter)
November 27, 2025 at 1:37 PM
I am often that man. Well done him!
November 27, 2025 at 1:25 PM
Its caused a boom of chocolate with pistachios and other crunchy bits in. Thats a plus for me. As thats delicious.

Not sure the genuine article was much better
November 27, 2025 at 12:54 PM
Lol! That was properly unhinged, that was. I keep hoping Musk is going to try one of his own rockets…
November 27, 2025 at 12:52 PM
And believe me there are plenty of wise heads working in tech who are doing their damndest to ride out the bubble, and ensure that if people want to throw their money at ‘AI’ they do it in a way that causes the least possible short term damage.
November 27, 2025 at 11:11 AM
Some stuff is ethically dubious. Some is kind of useful, but nobody is going to actually PAY for it. Some is being missold, used where it shouldn’t be and there WILL be scandals.

Its going to look very different in 5 years, and not in the way Musk thinks it will
November 27, 2025 at 11:08 AM
I’m convinced thats where this is going too…
November 27, 2025 at 11:06 AM
Its the ethics and companies we should be attacking, not the technology. Maybe its because I’m old enough to recall the .com bubble. Felt very similar. ‘Everything’ was going to become a website. Of course some things did. Some good, some bad. And silly applications collapsed
November 27, 2025 at 11:06 AM
Its making me unpopular in certain circles but theres nothing wrong with the tech, and I hate people conflating the two.

For example - the tools that allow you to restore or touch up photos are great.

There are equivalents in music production too which aren’t ‘just write the song for me’
November 27, 2025 at 11:06 AM
Yeah - that too. 🥺
November 27, 2025 at 10:59 AM
You can’t just go to Scotland and chop one down you know… They hate it when you do that.
