Progress being made on sorting cards since it’s a straightforward project to focus, need to not let exhaustion hold me back. I’m just constantly physically and mentally exhausted and I know that’s not going to get better but… I got nowhere to go with this beyond expressing the frustration, I guess.

Holy shit, there's an open carry #2A protest of ICE happening in Douglas County Colorado -- a very wealthy and very red suburb county of Denver. (I lived there for 16 years.) The Trump Administration pissing off committed gun owners sufficiently for them to join the protests against ICE is wild.

Interesting in retrospect that this image really does sum up the excitement and experience of “dad’s mid-life crisis thrill seeking” that would be about Pac-Man’s speed.
I really should dig up a solid Apple II emulator and do pixel art again; it was one of the highlights of my childhood but BASIC was basically dead as a practical language by the time I got to college so I abandoned it.
The way this Apple II rooftop cityscape draws itself in and then sweeps across the screen is very pleasing to the eye.
The traffic and skyscraper lights twinkling away very much build some lovely atmosphere and look lovely in their own right.

You voted in support of unskilled and untrained domestic terrorists with federal uniforms ignoring the Constitution, breaking into homes, kidnapping children, and literally raping and pillaging citizens as they see fit. Your removal from office and subsequent relevance can’t happen soon enough.
I’ll keep plugging away to make sure that Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars are being invested in an effective, durable, and responsible way.

I honestly don’t know if Japan’s current entertainment industry has the capacity to create something like this again, be it the creativity, ingenuity, eccentricity, whatever.

I enjoy how many people would first bounce off the rationale presented, but then with sincere review of the statements as a consumer in the digital games ecosystem, realize the absolute accuracy of everything said, volumes of marketing and behavioral research summarized succinctly to a page.
This is probably the most sensible thing a game dev has ever said.

I feel tired all the time, like I’m starving most of the time, and completely disinterested with food half of that time. At this point I don’t know when it’s my body, its disease, or the battery of medications within that’s talking.
