Had a superb tour of the Raciborskie brewery in Racibórz. 1 hour long and only 30zł, plus you got to taste 4 beers at the end. The tour has a fair amount of detail and you actually get to see where it is brewed as opposed to just watching a video presentation. Would recommend it to tourists. 🇵🇱🍻

God this stuff is so embarrassing. There is so much about modern Britain that *should* offend conservative Christians, yet we get this complete wibble instead. The 'true' meaning of Christmas is being cancelled by consumerism, not 'the woke liberati'.
The UK far right is increasingly infiltrating the Anglican church so this is bang on trend.

Some people are so filled with hatred for Ukraine that they think anything that contains blue or yellow represents them. It's sad that the local council gave into stupidity and hatred in the end.
A Polish city has changed the scarf on a decorative Christmas teddy bear from blue to red after complaints that the original looked like the Ukrainian national colours.

In fact, blue and gold had been chosen because they are the colours of the city’s coat of arms.

This is nothing to celebrate as many polls including this one would likely mean a PiS and Konfederacja coalition. It's not great for KO as Lewica, Polska 2050, and PSL all suffer, mainly due to the negative press they receive from KO friendly press.
Opinion polls show that Prime Minister Donald Tusk's ruling party has pulled ahead of its main rival, PiS.

However, the position of Tusk's coalition remains precarious, and the government's fundamental problems and weaknesses have not gone away, writes @aleksszczerbiak.bsky.social.
Has Donald Tusk's government regained the political initiative in Poland?

I've got the new Piast Gliwice Christmas jumper out for the work Christmas party. 🔵🔴🎅💪

With these polls there's nothing to celebrate. I see various PO/KO politicians celebrate being ahead of PiS, despite a lot of polls showing that they'd lose power. It's almost like beating PiS is more important than running Poland. 🇵🇱🗳🙄
W sondażach systematycznie rośnie poparcie dla KO, ale tu dobre wiadomości dla Donalda Tuska się kończą. Szczegóły ➡️ http://dlvr.it/TPmX7y

Purely for career purposes only. Failed as both an MP and local councillor and was desperate to get elected into other positions too. He knows that some people have short term memories so will vote for him in Reform.
Former Tory MP Ben Bradley has now defected to Reform. They really are taking all the worst people from the Boris era.

Looks like I won't be visiting the US anytime soon to visit my wife's sister and husband.
I've seen many people spread lies about the EU or the UK government having communist policies, yet I bet they'll be fairly quite over this when the truth is staring them in the face. Hello, Mr Musk...
Citizens of countries including the UK and France will have to disclose the past five years of their social media history to visit the US even though they are covered by visa waiver schemes, under new proposals by the Trump administration.

An insane political move. One of the recurring complaints about immigration in the U.S. is that those seeking asylum jump the line. This is line-jumping — but for rich people, not those in need.

I was not expecting that! Especially, when you consider the referee's appalling performance. However, they stook at it and got their rewards. What a win!!! #Notts

US host cities facing at least $250m shortfall due to new Fifa deal

Fifa take virtually all WC revenue, and costs supposed to be covered by sponsors

But cities can’t do big deals as, eg, convenience store Wawa cuts across Fifa deal with McDonald’s

I'm not a fan but it's true that Nawrocki wants to be more hands on and sees himself with as much power as Trump has in the US.
President Karol Nawrocki has been chosen as one of the 28 "most powerful people shaping European politics and policy in the year ahead" by @politico.eu.

They note how Nawrocki has "transformed the presidential palace into an alternative power center to the prime minister’s office".

In a normal country she'd be sent to prison but in Putin's Russia this will be ignored.

I get the general impression that a fair amount of Russians are stupid. Maybe it's the full-on propaganda of the last 20 years that has damaged their ability to think.
A popular Russian parenting blogger filmed herself using a pump to suck the air out of a vacuum-sealed plastic bag with her son inside.
