It's very disappointing to see the end of Nowoczesna. When I moved to Poland 6 years ago they were the party I followed due to aligning most with my beliefs. However, over recent years as they've moved closer to PO, I've been put off them. I've always believed they should've remained independent. 🇵🇱🗳

Build, build, build in Racibórz 😉🇵🇱🏘
Received confirmation that my permanent residency application has been successful and in a few weeks I can exchange my temporary residency card for a permanent residency one. This is possible having met the 5 year Polish residency criteria amongst other things. 🇵🇱❤️
On the island of Vágar in the Faroe Islands, they're building a 'summer farm' where tourists will be able to stay in cottages. If it's successful then it can easily be expanded. It's hoped that it will open for next summer. 🇫🇴

Nýggjur summarbýlingur í Miðvági
Miðvágur fær nú ein heilt nýggjan býling. Hetta er tó ein serligur býlingur, tí talan verður ein ein býling bara til ferðafólk

It certainly is. So much green space. Very underrated place, in my opinion. Although I'm obviously biased. 😅

Yeah, sadly people are taken in by the snake oil salesman. I do get why people vote for them due to built up frustration with other parties. However, you can't have easy solutions to complex problems. I also don't get why their Russian links are made more of.
Matt does realise doesn't he that if he wants to go to another European country it's not as easy now due to the Brexit he supported?
'Get rid of the migrants or I'll become a migrant' is quite the argument
Lovely weather for a run before work. It was actually much warmer (18°) and windier than I was expecting. 🇵🇱🏃‍♂️💪
Personally, they should've appointed Liam Rosenior instead of getting Russell Martin a couple of years ago, as at least there may have been some longevity behind it. I rate Will Still but he's certainly doing a lot worse than I could've imagined. Maybe #SaintsFC just damage your reputation,
Southampton's problems can be traced back to when Liebherr sold the club, as since then it's been rapidly down hill. Only Ralph Hasenhüttl's stewardship helped paper over the cracks. Sports Republic are a great example of why multi-club ownerships should be banned.

Putin's puppet. Why are people still taken in by the belief that Trump is the world's saviour? 🤦‍♂️
President Trump twice blames Ukraine for starting the war with Russia

In 2014, Russia invaded and annexed Crimea

In February 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine

President Trump saying Ukraine invaded Russia, is more like parroting what Putin says. Why is Trump on Putin's side?
I would've taken a point before the match, so can't complain. It's obviously disappointing to lead twice and not win, but if you want promotion it's important to not lose to teams challenging for promotion. Win home, draw away. #Notts
I'm still intrigued to hear what locations these wars he's supposedly stopped took place.
Trump: "Somebody on TV said, 'you're the third best president behind George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.' And I got extremely angry ... hey, they didn't put out eight wars, nine coming."
I remember time when all English football fans and clubs were banned from Europe due to the behaviour of a few. 🤷‍♂️
Who's solving the Louvre robbery? Right answers only
Certain politicians and journalists telling Maccabi Tel Aviv to take their tickets.
Started off frosty but then the sun came out. Only 7° but still had a nice run. 🇵🇱🏃‍♂️💪
This is disappointing to read, although I'm not surprised. When I first moved to Poland I supported Nowoczesna, due to my beliefs. However, I have always argued they should've remained more independent (like Zielona) rather than becoming a wing of PO. Sadly, I can't support the merger. 😔🇵🇱🗳
Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s Civic Platform is set to launch a new political group and open its ranks to people from outside traditional party structures.
Kraków is clearly an appealing city with its architecture and infrastructure, but the huge population growth causes a bug problem for many smaller cities and towns that experience a brain drain as a result.
Krakow recorded the fastest population growth of any Polish city in the first half of 2025, driven mainly by migration from both domestic regions and abroad.

Statement from Israel Police: “This was not a football game, but a case of serious disorder and violence. As a result, Israel Police has informed the clubs and match officials that the game cannot take place."
The Tel Aviv derby was cancelled tonight due to fan violence. Maybe West Midlands police have more intel than politicians? 🤷‍♂️
The relegation battle will go to the final day with Suduroy, 07 Vestur, so TB Tvøroyri all vying to avoid the drop. Two teams will get relegated and only one will survive. 🇫🇴⚽️ #BetriDeildin
