Turns out that they replaced the guidebook reskin (v2024) with a custom-built app (v2)
Android did the reasonable thing, and never offered me the downgrade to this year's app

As GDC talk applications have opened, I want to politely remind you that GDC remains one of the most inaccessible, unfairly expensive, and dangerous for-profit game industry events out there - and that offering your labour for free to it just adds value that pressures people into going needlessly.

point and click adventure game but all the items you get to solve puzzles with are Cow Tools lookin' implements and you need to figure out what they're even used for in the first place
If you make a point and click adventure game (or a more modern, first person puzzle game) you MUST follow the golden rule:
Be VERY CAREFUL when adding a sledgehammer, a screwdriver, a crowbar, or a shovel. Players will try to use these on EVERYTHING THEY SEE, and be confused when they can't.
