There are a number of species on Avishraa with an empathic faculty that Earthlings would probably call magical, though the sapient beings of Avishraa wouldn't - largely because they have similar faculties themselves. It consists of the ability to detect subjectively perceived states (cont'd)
The short answer to how people manage snow and cold: they try not to. Takmar originated in, and prefer, wet, tropical climates, and their populations are found almost entirely around low latitudes; they do not typically do well in environments where snow is frequent. (cont'd) #worldbuilding
