It's sad and it's fucked up that I do think there are a myriad of forces on the internet who're looking to prey on children for a number of reasons and also that I think the loudest voices rushing to protect said children are also way more invested in pushing their own bigoted agenda.

There's gonna be a lot of speculation here but the answer is that Zootopia 2 is the only family movie that released in the Holidays of 2025. It has zero competition in a timeframe where it's appealing to an audience that dominates during this time.

Regular reminder that you don't have to try to beat the game; you don't have to have a bespoke Take on everything, you don't have to reason your way to it from first principles, and you can in fact fail catastrophically compared to a few simple heuristics when you try.

AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising

I feel like if we EVER get ANY Nintendo games on Steam or PC? It's gonna be like... a NES collection first and then maybe they'll trickle out some other virtual console stuff.

the one week link in every monster catching game that isn't pokemon IMHO is the monster designs.
You can make your monster catching thing a fully fleshed out RPG with a story, voice acting, combat, graphics, yadda yadda but if the monster designs don't click?
