Musk calling Social Security a "ponzi scheme" while pushing Trump to start a crypto reserve (subsidizing an actual ponzi scheme) is the perfect embodiment of 2025 in America.
Look forward to learning which members of Congress and administration profited off the announcement of a “partnership” between US Steel and Nippon Steel.

LNG Exports Pushing Electricity Prices Higher. Not an Accident.
“Drill Baby Drill” is an empty slogan. The plan is for you to pay more for electricity, and for the fossil fuel industry’s profits and power to rise in perpetuity. Lt. Gen. Russel…

the French didn't "give" us the Statue of Liberty. It was built with $250,000 of funds raised privately in France and $300,000 of funds raised privately in the United States.
TAPPER: Even if Qatar isn't asking for anything in return now for the jet, that's a bill that could come do. Nobody in the world just gives a $400m jet to be nice.

BESSENT: Well, I don't know Jake. The French gave us the Statue of Liberty.

Under 65 years old? No Novovax COVID vaccine for you this year.

As expected, the Republicans have enabled RFK Jr. and his coterie of antivax grifters to take away your right to make your own medical decisions in consultation with your doctor.

And all the top results are YouTube videos. I can read, so don’t need a video that requires me to watch 3 ads and a lengthy intro to get to the solution to my question.
I just quit using Google as my primary search. Been using it without a second thought for over two decades.

No way to disable to AI results at the top of the list.

Frequently wrong. Always wasting my time.

Based on this picture my brain forecasts that, in 35 years, Zuck will look just like Mitch McConnell
For the world’s 500 richest people, this would be the biggest two-day loss ever recorded by the Bloomberg.

I’m so old my first job was at a GROCERY store. And since then, at least once per week I have bought GROCERIES. I first selected, then put in a buggy, then checked out, putting in GROCERY bags, and paying with money I earned from honest work.
Trump: "An old fashioned term that we use -- groceries. I used it on the campaign. It's such an old fashioned term, but a beautiful term. Groceries. It says a bag with different things in it."

The White House quietly released a Friday night EO that would eradicate privacy protections, make enemies lists a lot easier to assemble, and basically set the stage for a police state.
The first and most important thing to know about last night's Exec order is that it's intended to break current law and allow people throughout the federal gov look at yr tax returns. Beyond that it's intended to compel states to turn over all their data to the fed govt.

She was a key figure in the success of the first and subsequent US spaceflights.

Her calculations were essential to the Apollo 11 mission, which landed the first humans on the moon.
