Writers who plagiarise the work of other writers are the scum of the earth. Can't even relate to that instinct.
i like Vecna in Stranger Things but i'd be lying if I said I didn't wish he moved like Jim Carrey in the Grinch.

I can't tell you how important it is to keep coming up with stuff in your own voice, no matter how tempted you are to pretend you’re someone else.

Another image by Chris Wormell. This is from his exquisite work in an edition of Edith Hamilton's MYTHOLOGY and I curse the publisher to the Hell of the Upside Sinners for only stating the artist's name in squint print.

I think some of you still don't realise that some of them that work forces are the same that burn crosses, despite how many times I heard you sing it in the club

City of lights. In Fiji they have these iridescent algae, they come out once and year in the water. That's what it looks like out there 🖤

Frankenstein is actually the best movie I could have watched between Halloween and Christmas, it won't get any better than that.

Yup. Hire artists. Use public domain images. Take a picture!
Rest assured, if your screenplay is accompanied by shitty AI illustrations, I will not read it. You cannot disrespect artists like that and expect me to read 24,000 of your words.

I've been mulling over this for a while, but:

Stranger Things could've been a monster-of-the-week style show, like Buffy was.

Vecna runs in the background, appearing at the end of each season, with only the final season focusing him.

That way they could've grown up.

I love interviews with directors where they're like "it really took him ten years to make this film, this is the film he's been trying to make for ten years" because I'm sat in my house with no film made like yes queen I feel you on that

I'm very moved by things, I never think it's embarrassing to be moved by things, I try not to get in that cynical way where movies and books don't move me anymore, in fact I seek out things that move me, I lean hard into that feeling, because your heart can shrink and it can grow
