As bad as the Netflix deal might be, it’s a way better option than the Ellisons, the Saudis and Trump getting hold of Warner. Debating theatrical windows with Ted Sarandos is small time compared to the damage that sick bunch is going to do to movies, television and journalism

Sorry, films today aren't the same. I see people (myself included) being gaslit daily about this online but, no, sorry it has changed.
We've lost so much.
Btw, there are somedays that I think Paul Newman's performance in this is the GOAT in film history.
Today is one of those days...

Less than two years before his landmark directorial debut AS TEARS GO BY hit theaters in 1988, noted auteur Wong Kar-Wai was spending everyday hustlin', just like so many of his other peers who eventually created the nineties alongside him. Kar-Wai spent much of the eighties shuffling through the film industry in various roles, even appearing in front of the cameras occasionally.

I used to be on here constantly and rarely am anymore because of it and I'm sure I'm not alone. The Blue Maga bots are especially rampant.

Imagine buying one of the most historic libraries of art in the history of cinema and you bring up Harry Potter and The Big Bag Theory. Thank God I have over 100 years of International cinema to focus on because watching anything 'Hollywood' produces moving forward will be a rare event for me.
Netflix, which rarely carries a single movie from before 1980, wants you to know how thrilled they are to acquire that classic piece of franchise IP, Casablanca

Says the clown who allowed all this to happen by not doing THE ONE goddamn thing he most needed to. Let me guess, the 'fight' he's referring to involves us going out and voting again for a party that clearly refuses to get the job done as well as, most importantly, giving money to them.

Oh, no.

Judging a musician as "the best" is a silly game, but I'd often say Steve Cropper was "the best guitarist". Some of that is to challenge what people think "the best guitarist" should sound like, but also because he was consistently great.
