pandemonium at the office

On the window is a Murkrow cawing, and on top of a bookshelf is a Jirachi.

The scene is chaotic and hectic but the mood of the piece is calming because of the warm light cast through the window.

Panel 1: Pris, a blood elf and Armas, a Darkspear troll, are walking through a Darkspear village in the early hours of the morning. Panel 2: This panel covers the entire page and bleeds out of the borders. Pris is cleaning clams on the beach and Armas is hunting fish with his spear. Jahti is sniffing around in the sand. The sun is slowly rising over the horizon, illuminating them with a backlight.
The dialogue reads:
Armas: Ya hermit crab be not acceptin’ ya offerings.
Pris: What? I left a dozen shells for it, I could’ve kept them!

Panel 3: In the foreground we have a beautiful shiny shell with big spikes. It has white base, red on the spikes and golden coloring through it, reminiscent of Silvermoon. Behind it, we see Armas trying to spear a fish, and further down, Pris sitting in the sand.
The dialogue reads:
Armas: Maybe they be too fancy for a skittish little thing like that.

Panel 1: Pris and Armas are in the Darkspear village. We see several troll villagers in the back, two women, two men and a man carrying his daughter on his back. They go on about their day. There is also a large Darkspear hut made of wood and straw. A little pink saurid is running by. Pris hands the basket with cleaned clam meat to an old troll who has light green skin, graying green hair, a broken tusk and long braids. He is visibly skinny, but in a good mood. Behind her stands Armas, holding the bag full of fish and behind him is Jahti, curiously looking.
The dialogue reads:
Pris: Here you go, the softest batch yet! You won’t need any teeth at all.
Pris: Say, do you know how to make a hermit crab take to a shell?
Armas: Ah, so everyone will be hearin’ about this today.

Panel 2: A closeup of the old troll who replies to Pris with a smile.
The dialogue reads:
Old Troll: Hermit crabs won’t crawl inna shell too big. It will only be slowin’ them down.

Panel 3: Armas looks over at Pris with a smug expression. She seems mildly irritated.
The dialogue reads:
Armas: Maybe that’s why the crab doesn’t want it Pris. Ya be thinkin’ like them Silvermoon elves.
Pris: What does that have to do with it? I am not in Silvermoon, and neither is the crab.

Panel 4:
It's a top view scenery of a path through the jungle. Armas and Pris are walking, followed by Jahti and surrounded by other trolls. There is a troll woman on a red raptor, two older trolls and three troll children.
The dialogue reads:
Armas: We should bring these to me mom.
Pris: I think the crab wants to spite me. Who wouldn’t want a huge shell?
Pris: Hey, do you know why crabs don’t like big shells?
Troll 1: Huh?
Armas: Leave them be, Pris.
Pris: If I see Uzu, we can ask him.
Armas: Have you tried giving it a skull?
Pris: You're messing with me. Where on Azeroth did you get that from?
Armas: Hah, ya wouldn’t believe me if I told ya.

Panel 1: Armas and Pris arrive at Armas's mother's house. There is a door with beads, a troll mask and a wooden raptor decoration to the side. Pris hugs Armas's mother, while he watches with a soft expression, holding the bag of fish.

Panel 2: The scene bleeds through the whole page. It's Armas's mother house, a typical troll home with a shrine to Bwonsamdi, a shelf with books, two windows, colorful Darkspear rugs, a counter with some fruits and candles lighting it up. Armas, Pris and his mother sit around a table. There is grilled fish with some rice and fried plantains. Armas's mother is a blue troll woman just like him, with green hair, wearing a brown outfit and many neclaces. Jahti is sleeping behind them, with leftover fish bones around her head, implying she feasted well.
The dialogue reads:
Armas: And if it wasn’t for that noisy boat, I would’ve caught ya that mightfish for sure. Pris didn’t have much luck with her undertakin’ either.
Armas’s mom: Eh? What were ya up to?
Pris: I've been leaving shells for this spiteful hermit crab that resents me. I don't understand why he won't take any.
Armas’s mom: They need a small snug shell, so they be picky. That way they feel safe and protected, and when they outgrow it, they find a new fittin’ one.

Panel 3: It's night. The text reads "Later". Armas and Pris return home and we see their silhouettes. They are in the troll village, standing in front of a troll house with a staircase and some hanging lights.
The dialogue reads:
Pris: Armas… What did you mean earlier, with Silvermoon?
Armas: Oh? Just that your people be likin’ their houses, ya know… Grand and shiny.

Page 4 of a 4 page comic. This page contains 5 panels.

Panel 1: In their home, Armas sits down on the bed next to Pris and puts the now empty bag down. He looks distraught and she is sad.
The dialogue reads:
Pris: I don’t think I’ll ever grow into that.
Armas: Ya can’t know that... Maybe when ya leave your current shell behind, you’ll grow right into... Grand and shiny.

Panel 2 and Panel 3: In a closeup, Pris looks down, saddened, until Armas calls her and she looks up at him.
The dialogue reads:
Armas: Come here, bedbug.

Panel 4: The panel bleeds through the whole page. It is Pris and Armas's home. While the structure is a typical troll house, there are many things that belong to Pris. On the shelves, there are both troll books and Blood Elf books, a Blood Elf globe, a troll bowl, a Blood elf flask, as well as two of Jahti's feathers on a string, next to a glowing Phoenix feather. There are small glowing crystals on the string above the bed as well. The pillows and bedding are colorful and in the style of the Darkspear. On the wall there is a mask of Bwonsamdi, next to a shield with the crest of Silvermoon. On the window there is a Blood Elf tapestry, but the sky and moon are visible. In the foreground there is a troll style nightstand and on the ceiling, there are round jars with candles in them.
Jahti is sleeping by the window and Armas holds Pris in his lap as both are lying on the bed. He has a soft loving expression and she holds her arms around him.
The dialogue reads:
Armas: How ya be feelin’?
Pris: Like your mom said, small and snug...
Pris: I am not sure if I want to outgrow this.
Armas: I outgrew my old shell when ya came along, but we never stop growin’. If this place we built be not right for ya--
Pris: Then we find a new one together.
Armas: Oh?
Pris: The shell needs to fit both of us.

Panel 5: It's night on the beach and the hermit crab has finally found a shell. It is one that has purple and blue hues, matching Pris and Armas.

With the theme being 'Home' I wanted to make this comic a love letter to the expansion that I personally really found my home in: Shadowlands.

Dieamedes is seen walking with Marastraz who is in his visage form “Look Mara… uh… straz? I don't mean to be rude- or an ungracious host or whatever… but didn't all the mortals leave the Shadowlands an aeon ago?” Dieamedes asks.
“‘Aeon’ you know you Kyrian always use that word wrong. An aeon is a billion years, yet you use it to mean ten minutes.” “It's a figure of speech smartmouth.” Dieamedes says grumbling“And that's not an answer to my question.” “Fair, it's a little hard to explain.”
Marastraz says “I just felt like… Azeroth was too small. There were too many of my flight who cared for every aspect of it; there was no room for… well me.” -Show Marastraz looking at other red dragons.-
“So you basically got too big for the nest?” “Something like that!” They both stand on an edge of Bastion with the title AEON.

Dieamedes takes off from the ledge and Marastraz transforms to fly with him. “Alright second question.” Dieamedes says.
“How come you're always movin’ around so much? Why aren't you covenant sworn?” “Well that's two questions-” “Don't start.” “- With the same answer. The Shadowlands has an infinite number of realms. Why would I eternally tie myself to one- now don't take offence Bastion has been nothing but hospitable towards me.”
“Even with the prying questions.”
Dieamedes scoffs “Can you blame me? It's still in recent memory that half our numbers decided to cause havoc and then things just got all sorts of weird’ folks where falling faster than leaves in autumn then
You got… evil… maw kyrian I ain't even sure what those were but it was bad!
So can you blame me for prying when a Dragon decides this is where he wants to kip?”
Marastraz pouts for a moment.
“Let me explain myself then before you decide I'm a threat to Bastion.”

It shows him flying though bastion, “The most obvious point is that you are people who understand a good flying space! Plus the Paragon of Humility loves whenever my tailwind humbles one of you.” “Look he loves everyone, that's not a high horse-!”
Next he's seen standing in a body of water with a horse “Speaking of horses I have got to remember not to approach anything that looks like one while I'm in Ardenweald. I think one day the Sylvar will just let me drown.”
“That seems more like what the Venthyr would do.” Dieamedes says. “No, they actually get along quite well with me. They're a big fan of the colour red there and I think it shows. The Stoneborn however, sometimes we have debates over the sky line.” -He is seen arguing with Shivaal-
“Maldraxus I admit I do stay away from slightly. It's very violent. Has plagues and slimes that dissolve you…. Everyone seems nice but is always yelling. Also there are necromancers here too.” “Wait if we're in the realm of death and you have life magic, doesn't that make you the necromancer?” Dieamedes asks “I would prefer not to think about it!” Marastraz responds - Show Sin’ewe being a little freak or whatever he does-

“My reasoning doesn't end there, you have the start of just… well everything in Zerith Mortis! It's insane to think about but also completely fascinating.” “Yeah we don't like going there for a reason.” - Show Deev-
“The Brokers of Tazavesh are very friendly but have also forced me to learn about currency and trade here. That has honestly scared me more than necromancers.” - Show Xy’diah who is definitely doing the hussle-
“Lastly, the eternal city itself. It's so mundanely comical but also extremely impressive. Not as impressive on how I can still get lost going in a circle. Unfortunately I can't speak for the Maw considering they won't let me in there.” “You wonder why?” - Show Maraztaz flying under the bridge bit-
The two are then seen landing on another part of Bastion “So you see Dieamedes, the Shadowlands is expansive.”
They are seen looking over a ledge again “It's big enough that I can sate my curiosity, and feels like a place I can call home for many aeons to come… using that literally by the way.” “Oh give over.”

1: A dark stormy night on a remote island off the Kul Tiran coast. A tavern comes into view while some figures in the rain seek shelter.

2. The true nature of this strange island is evident as the warm interior of the tavern is filled with K'thir and other strange characters. One giant is being bothered by a man in an occult mask. At the bar, three inviduals are peacefully enjoying their evening. The only human serving them looks absolutely terrified.

3 & 4: Through his eyes, the figures look far more intense and terrifying, cast in shadows, leering at him.

1,2,3,4: The anxious mess of a man retreats to his room upstairs, trying to calm himself down. As he calms himself down in the dark, he laments his decision to leave his post, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. Then... the door opens. A single, glowing blue eye leers at him from beyond the portal.

5,6,7. It's the bar tender. His boss. He scowls for a moment, before extending a mug towards the waiter. Putting his hand on his hip. The K'thir reveals his much more jubilant nature. His apron has "Cooking Impossible" embroidered onto it, and the mug of tea he extends out to the human reads "Kraken good work!"

8. The two are now gathered in the room, with a warm fire lit. The waiter made a cup of tea for the K'thir and the two bond.

Panel 2: Goblins are in a nice and frilly looking place. "Too fancy."

Panel 3: Spikes and axes and other pointy things. "Too spikey"

Panel 4: A tomb and from inside a coffin you hear "Too morbid"

Panel 5: In some void horror dimension "Too ADFdaflkdsjadsfj"

Panel 1: Goblins are in Stormwind throne room. 1st goblin says "Finally this place is perfect."

Second goblin says "How did you pay for this?"

Panel 2: Goblin is confused. "Pay?"

Panel 3: Goblins are booted from the castle.

Panel 4: First goblins " Oh well I guess home really is where the heart is"

Second Goblin "And I found one under the couch!"
