NEW: Holy cow—remember the man dragged half-naked out of his home by ICE into the snowy Minneapolis cold? And did you catch how DHS then said that raid was conducted in search of two sex offenders? Well guess where one of those two sex offenders already was:

Target of Viral Botched ICE Raid Was Already in Prison
When ICE agents dragged out ChongLy Thao half-naked in the snow, they were looking for a man named Lue Moua. They should have known exactly where to find him.

This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

It’s really hard to bear the contrast on my TL of regular ass Minnesotans doing some of the bravest shit I’ve ever seen in the face of state sponsored terror followed by a deep blue state senator posting: “errrm how does taking Greenland help lower the price of groceries?”

I am not exaggerating when I say ICE functions as a terrorist organization in the Twin Cities. The goal seems to be to harass and frighten people (the ones who are lucky enough to not be abducted, at least) and it's deeply unsettling when you learn they're in your neighborhood.

This isn’t immigration policy. It’s a business model.

ICE keeps growing, not because it makes America safer, but because corporations are raking in billions off cages, bodies, and suffering. ICE’s existence is a massive revenue stream.

Saint Paul schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for optional online learning.

I’ve seen schools close for snow, for pandemic, for natural disaster. I’ve never seen schools close because of threat from our own government.

Everyone,

There are PLENTY of documented, legit, real horrifying things happening in the Twin Cities right now.

We don’t need anonymous, unverified, engagement bait rumors, whether of the “I heard that” or just bullshit variety.

Reality is hard. Don’t make it harder.

Thanks.

WSJ investigation: In the past 6 months ICE agents have fired at vehicles 13 times, leading to:

* 8 people shot
* 5 of which were U.S. citizens
* 2 died
* no victims drew a weapon

The playbook: Agents box in a vehicle, block attempts to flee, then fire
