The Culture exists in my mind.

It’s just war is a terrifying factor for someone on the earlier end of leaving. Feels like the window is about to close, so do i keep selling things and reckoning my packing? When i leave for my initial trip, does that become my single chance to leave?
I’m tired, but i can’t sleep. Problems in mind.

Option 1: agonizingly add jargis, jargonis, jargoni, jargonfoo, jargonbar, and such in muted words. Just be annoyed and adding new obscure sport words and names for a while.

Option 2: Blocklist ☢️

Option 3: Embrace chaos and ruin, mute the common words like: “chip” and “going”

I mean there's this sneaky framing shift that robs trans people much of the support of science that they absolutely have in the way these things are commonly talked about. Very few comparable medical / scientific things, save for gender, is allowed to be framed so strongly as a matter of opinion.

Valid. I also have little sports interest on bluesky.
So, I have mutewords for things that appear in those kinds of posts.
The name of the sport itself and jargon pretty exclusive to said sports cuts down on uninteresting topic noises pretty well.

Have you read any Banks (like The Player of Games) or Le Guin (The Dispossessed)?

I read hopeful, utopian books to keep myself closer to sane.

If a parent considers their kid programmable property, then they are defective when they express their own opinions or creative forces.

It’s why I was hit w/ a slur when I won a poetry contest as a child. It’s why my mom asked: “who told you that?” When I expressed MYSELF.
I was just malfunctioning

I don't think that any such extremist would say their child has been physically replaced, but when you follow these people's logic they seem to genuinely believe that their child's mind has been replaced by an imposter, and their behaviour going forward seems to match that notion.

First off, there are few things more satisfying than seeing the worst people finally get what they deserve.

Second of all, that wasn't water; it was deer piss.

Finally, both sides did ask us to turn down the heat, so we thought we'd take that not only personally, but especially literally too.

I can see into the future, and I'm seeing everyone confused how we ended up with squirt-gun control before actual-gun control
