I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

We are seeing in Minnesota that WE have the power to care for, provide for & defend our communities ourselves. We have the chance right now to look at our state governance and go “what do you actually do for us? What do you actually provide, beyond seeking your own power?” And we can change that.

I know people want to give them an off ramp because there is so many of them and we want for them to learn their lesson, but if they havent learned as of yet then they will never learn without social consequences.
Do not let these MAGA parasites try to back track away from the bullshit that they voted for because if you do then that gives them an excuse to vote the same way again in the future.

it’s so wild when you read Black theorists all throughout the 1900s literally predicting all of this… you cannot maintain a white supremacist, patriarchal state without those same genocidal logics being visited on its own people… it’s only a matter of time.

Every violent act of ICE/CBP agents has precedent in police violence. What we’re witnessing IS an extreme escalation but it is NOT an aberration. It is in historical continuity with settler colonialism, slave patrols, eugenics, police brutality. Cops kill over 1,000 people in the U.S. every year.

Palestine was the test to see what they could do. Not standing in solidarity with Palestinians was not only a major moral and ethical failing it was a strategic mistake that everyone will pay for.

I’m sharing this video again because people don’t really get what these data centers and ai are doing to our planet and our communities. Especially Black communities because they were strategically placed there.

I need you to listen to these people.

The purpose of the liberal rules-based order was not to constrain the actions of the United States. It was to lend legitimacy to a world system structured around US empire.

Trump has torn down this façade - what's left is the reality of naked imperialism.

It should click for you how many who ask for mutual aid online are disabled. Disabled people are likely to be in poverty & isolation. Disability makes life under capitalism precarious. That’s why disability justice is intertwined with getting rid of capitalism & why mutual aid is disability justice.

This is horrific. And intentional.
This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

Every time I see someone yammering about abolish ICE / policing and how DEEPLY UNPOPULAR it is, I want to remind them that the GOP abolished Roe v. Wade and that was also deeply, deeply unpopular, and here they are, in charge of everything still.

ICE murdering people & letting people die in custody isn't a flaw in the system. It IS the system. Their *purpose* is to terrorize. It can't be reformed. It must be abolished, & those who committed, authorized, & abetted its crimes held accountable. This needs to be every candidate's platform.
