You have to go through Congress for anything resembling this type of war. Round up Massie and Paul types and have him removed. The people in this administration are on actual drugs and have insatiable bloodlust and bespoke mental illnesses. He has to go, and everybody with him.

People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

ProPublica could not find evidence Trump ever lived at either of the two Florida properties he claimed as principal residences in the 1990s.

Legal documents and other records from the period give his address as Trump Tower in Manhattan.

The Trump administration has argued that Fed board member Lisa Cook may have committed mortgage fraud by declaring more than one primary residence on her loans. We found Trump once did the very thing ...

Support your fave independent media because today I had two of our three kids home sick while trying to do a videosode that ended up going twice as long as we normally do. NO DAYS OFF FOR US FOLK. (also there's plenty of other reasons to support us lol, I'm just tired right now)

Years ago, my colleagues at Business Insider and I tracked YouTuber “cancellation” arcs. What we found is that for many entertainers, “cancellation” actually sets the stage for a redemption arc, one that can raise their profile higher than ever. It wasn’t career-ending. It was fuel.

This week's conversation with author, jorunalist, & convicted murderer John J. Lennon calling in from Sing Sing is one of the most interesting we've ever had. John's new book has so much to say about the true crime industrial complex, and what it is doing to us all

I hope Bill Cassidy feels real fucking proud of himself.
Amazing. Dude is just winking at Cassidy and telling him what a schmuck he is while he kills children.
Apparently RFK Jr. promised Senator Bill Cassidy that he wouldn’t remove the statement

“Vaccines do not cause autism” from the CDC website.

So what RFK Jr. did instead is spit in his face by leaving the statement there and adding this:

I hate this place.
The CDC amended its website to suggest that vaccines may cause autism. It now declares that experts “ignored” a potential link between infant vaccination and autism, and asserts that its earlier rejection of such a link was not “evidence-based.”

I saw a post recently that we should include random questions in elections to get people to vote. I LOVE this, and it could be a surprise question every election. This cycle: what's the best ice cream flavor, next cycle was the dress black/blue or white/gold? Etc etc.

Nine months ago I put most of my hope in major institutions continuing to hold fascism in check, but had little expectation that regular people with little to no power would step up and put themselves at risk.

I had it exactly backward.
signs like these are up all over Chicago cafes and storefronts (here, cafes in Brighton Park and Back of the Yards) warning ICE not to enter without a judicial warrant
