Sorry for language but what the f*ck is the point of Electoral Commission if they don’t bother investigating Farage’s alleged illegal excess spending during Clacton election❓😡

And why the f*ck did the police investigation over it & HMRC investigation over stamp duty on Clacton House both fade away🤷🏼‍♂️

Labour are launching an investigation into historical foreign interference in UK politics. But they are explicitly excluding the Brexit referendum from the investigation.

That's like pledging to investigate instances of arson while ignoring the wall of flames spanning the horizon.

Correction “there has no been no proper inquiry into foreign interference into previous elections and referdums” but plenty of evidence (DCMS/ISC) it wa attempted

The UK has given Trump two state visits (no other country has so far offered even one) and look where it’s got us. Our pre-eminent broadcaster being sued and an overhyped trade deal put on ice. So much for a ‘special relationship’. So much for post-Brexit sovereignty. We’ve seldom looked so supine.

Three days ago Starmer was arguing that the UK shouldn’t think about rejoining the EU because it would unpick all these great US trade deals.

So, Trump sues the BBC for $5Bn and puts the technology deal with the UK on hold until the US gets more concessions.
Anyone still deluding themselves about that “special relationship”? No. Just the tedious parade of simpering MAGA dickheads - led, of course, by the traitorous Farage.

How fascinating to see those 2nd Amendment people rushing to say "Australian gun laws don’t work!”

Australia's last mass shooting was THREE DECADES AGO.

There have been 300+ mass shootings in the US SINCE JANUARY!

This is incredible (good news too): “After a 40% fall in 2024 in battery equipment costs, it’s clear we’re on track for another major fall in 2025…The economics for batteries are unrecognizable, & the industry is only just getting to grips with this new paradigm”

Batteries now cheap enough to make dispatchable solar economically feasible
Energy think tank Ember says utility-scale battery costs have fallen to $65/MWh outside China and the United States, enabling solar power to be delivered when needed.

Great article. Starmer’s advisers, so-called “Blue Labour” (basically Tories) seem keen to win a race to the bottom against Reform, (basically UKIP) filled with Tory rejects and nasties. Starmer and his advisers look ridiculous by not realising how pointlessly unsupportable they look.

A simple approach would be to tell Mr Cole that he can choose to interview the most overt racists in our country (a man who'd chuck 90 MPs out of our parliament out on racist grounds & ban them from being civil servants) or to ask to interview government ministers - but that he can't do both.
