"Unscripted" TV librarian and media prepper. Extremely amateur word-liker. Many other unremarkable descriptors. I still have my Sega CD. Dormant English teacher.

Where two or more they go apace, / there, too, be Twitter in that place.

Most of the scientists at the nonprofit that I cofounded, including my two cofounders, came from NCAR. It’s hard to overstate the importance of this place for climate science.

Yeah, I'm sure Trump came up with war with Venezuela all on his own. Our government and our military are being run by evil grifters and thieves and murderers, openly and gleefully. They aren't hiding the worst deeds and one wonders what, if anything, they ARE hiding and what that means.

Fantastic story of a good man taken too soon in the most horrifying way.
When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

He lands this whole moment & the punchline so hard.
One of my all-time favorite clips of Rob Reiner, from his Friars Club Roast in 2000, as he reads aloud Roger Ebert's infamous scathing review of his movie North. The man had an amazing sense of humor about himself. RIP.

Finally watched Rohrwacher's LA CHIMERA last night, which is now one of my favorite movies of the last few years, and one thought that kept banging around in the back of my head was how great Josh O'Connor would be as Lupin.

Paul Thomas Anderson responds to winning the poll:
