Saw We Bury The Dead today. Really enjoyed it, but it’s more interested in being a drama than a horror. I wish it leant a little more/a lot more into the horror aspects, but still a film I think genre fans should check out. It did some interesting things in the zombie genre I hadn’t seen before.

So PopMart are selling some new Evangelion figures. I was hoping I’d just get Rei straight away so I wouldn’t have to get any of the others, but I got Asuka. I’m not mad about it, but I really rather wish it was Rei.

I get email alerts when Mandarake has the Guyver figma in stock again, but I’m never quick enough to get it. I take comfort in the fact there’s a lot of other people who recognise Guyver as the greatest comic ever.

Also (and this is kind of pointless me saying since no producers follow me and are unlikely to see it) stop making movies and TV for Amazon. Find alternative funding or just don’t make the thing. Make a moral choice.

like a lot of old books upset abt television this stuff is dated but also strangely applicable to our times imo. to some extent I think this concept is being almost deliberately weaponized. I like this song, too
