I love letting the wood grain lead the way when I paint patterned backgrounds👩🎨🎨✨ I follow those natural lines first, then play with complementary + contrasting colors to give the background a little depth, movement, and magic. It’s part structure, part intuition… and a whole lot of color joy 🖼️🌈💛
