All year, we've been watching mallards swim and hang around the moat near the centre of town and I've fallen in love with them. They're wonderful.

Figured I needed some more whimsy in my life so I painted one of the mallards wearing a bottle cap hat and wielding a Lego great sword! #birds #art

I think the bulk my efforts learning to draw were bic mechanical pencils and spiral notebooks. I didn't start using nice supplies for like, years. This isnt even work I ever showed anyone and I doubt I'm alone in that. You can also do some beautiful work with bic pens with enough practice.
