I sat down with this thought for a while and I decided to say fuck it and doodle Aspen again to reconnect with them. I haven't drawn them in ages, not properly anyway. I colored this sketch and I adore the arm wings.

I think those are here to stay as a way to freshen up their design. 💙

Arianda is a dragon raptor hybrid, also with long dongle like feathers, featuring dark grey and bright green feathers.

"Corruption"
Definitely a piece I'm very proud of! From the palette of the environment to the mood and the expression work. It was a fun piece to work on and I'm glad I nailed this one!

The scene is a dark forest with an eerie green atmosphere. In the bottom right corner slightly blurred is what looks to be a red crystal jutting out of a broken trunk as if it burst forward. Thorny vines are surrounding a white dragon character with blue/green markings and antennae indicating their magic. Red, jagged magic is leeching forward toward her and infecting her, turning her markings red and orange. The blue/green/yellow antennae are dissipating and whipping wildly as the new jagged red antennae take their place, eating away at the good magic. She's clutching her face desperately, not able to move as the magic corrupts her and she screams.
