It's absolutely not a thing that can be said "nicely and politely" but he (most likely a male) is too clueless to understand that.

Arnold Friberg was a gifted artist/illustrator who was known for, among other things, Mormon "faith-promoting" works which some might think of as propaganda. This one of Washington fits exactly with Mormonism's belief that the USA was founded as part of God's eternal plan.
