Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

My loyalty is to the social contract of this nation: the Constitution, which the Founders crafted under the influence of Enlightenment scholarship, Greek and Roman philosophers and the example of Haudenosaunee governance.
The President doesn't want you standing up and speaking out against him, so he's coming after me to intimidate all of us.

But I won't back down — and neither should you.

Oh FFS. Is there a nation where people are into science, reason and humanism (basically the Enlightenment)? Because I am little tired of feeling alone among so many fantasists. Nature is so full of wonder without the need for the supernatural.
New polling on aliens
% of U.S. adult citizens who believe the following definitely or probably exist:
Aliens 56%
Bigfoot 28%
The Yeti 23%

Pete Hegseth is a Chihuahua with small dog syndrome. Oh, he barks and he nips and he snarls and he growls because deep down he knows he ain’t all that and he’s big mad about it. Any old squirrel could easily kick his ass.

Reminding troops that they can refuse illegal orders = reminding them what the law says. How the f*** is that a military law violation?!

Listen, Trump. Your continued threats will not intimidate me or keep me from doing my job, which includes oversight of the executive branch.

Stop the threats of execution, hanging, and sending a mob before someone gets hurt.

America deserves better.
New threats from Trump:

The president just endorsed a post reading, "Go get all those traitorous sons of bitches for sedition at the very least. Those pompous traitorous communists should be impeached and prosecuted."

This is gooooood.
When people are mean to you, remember the universal truth that it comes from their own fears, not from a deficiency in you. So don’t react. Chin up. Wait for the reality of their own internal conflict to take care of it.

Here's an opportunity to visit NASA and attend the launch of the Artemis II mission to the Moon. Non-US citizens can apply. 🔭 🧪 www.nasa.gov/general/expe...

Software utilities, I think, must be treated the same way: regulated (including price) and operated under oversight. Otherwise, they're just a robber-baron monopoly with a stranglehold on the economy.

I love this idea.
I feel overwhelmed with gratitude to a local physician who bought my book in bulk so that she could plant copies in Little Free Libraries around our city to reach the public with its messaging in a grassroots way.

She made a collage of her efforts and delivered it to me today. 🙏
