Listening to a Cults to Consciousness episode describing a cult which masqueraded as an AA support group that prayed on and subsequently trafficked vulnerable teens. Awful stuff 😢 I've never really considered the #cult aspect of AA but there are definitely similarities to a high dependency religion.
